To request a repeat prescription

You can send us your repeat prescription form (with the items you require ticked) by POST, or delivered BY HAND.  We cannot accept telephone requests for prescriptions.

Alternatively you may prefer to order your repeat prescription ONLINE using Patient Access (see below) or by using the NHS App - www.nhs.uk/nhs-app/ or you may wish to use the Klinik facility on the website home page.

If you have already registered to use this system and have been using it to order your repeat prescriptions there is no change.

If you are registering for this system for the first time, the process has changed slightly.  It is now a three stage process:

  1. You can register from the website as an ONLINE SERVICE USER which will enable you to make an appointment only.
  2. If you wish to access all the services that PATIENT ACCESS can offer including ordering your repeat prescriptions, you need to visit the surgery and complete a 'Patient Registration form for Access to GP online services', or click on this link and bring it with you to the surgery: online registration form and Important information 'It's your choice' NHS England. Please bring with you two pieces of ID, (one photographic and one with your address on). Once we have verified your identity, you will be issued with a ‘registration letter’.
  3. You will need the information contained in this letter to enable you to fully register online with the service and you will then be able to order your prescriptions on line as well as accessing other online services offered.

If you collect your prescription from the surgery: please allow two working days.

If you go direct to the Pharmacy to collect your medication:  please allow three working days.

ELECTRONIC PRESCRIPTION SERVICE

The practice is now sending prescriptions to the pharmacy electronically.  This could save you a visit to the surgery to collect your prescription.  Go to 'Information Leaflets' on the righthand side of the screen for further information, or collect an information sheet at Reception
