Phlebotomy Clinics (blood tests)

Clinics are held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings and run by our trained phlebotomists. Appointments are required. Alternatively, use the link below to book an appointment at the local hospital.

Family Planning

Full family planning service available at Wycombe Hospital (Tel: 01494 425585 or 0300 303 2880).

Asthma/Cardiac/Chest Management

Run by Practice Nurse Specialist, by appointment.

Diabetic Clinic

Run by specialist trained Diabetic Nurses, by appointment.

Health Check

By invite - 40-74 year patients with no pre-existing health conditions. The Health Check is carried out by our HCA.  Please contact the surgery for more information if you have not received an invite and may be eligable. Additional appointments are available on a saturday morning in Marlow or Beaconsfield through the Improved Access Service.  Please ask reception for details. 

Screening & Preventative Medicine

Cervical Smears

Smears are taken by our Practice Nurses during their regular clinics, by appointment. You will be called when you are due a smear.

Practice Nurses

The Nurses/HCAs hold daily surgeries by appointment for: dressings, hearing tests, immunisation, cervical smears, pill checks and blood pressure checks

District Nurses

The District Nurses visit patients who require nursing at home and can be contacted on 01494 323040 with any queries.  Referrals to the District Nurse are made through the GP.  Please telephone the secretaries or use KLINIK for more information. 

Health Visitor

The Health Visitor facilitates health promotion and care for families, mothers, and children. They can be contacted on 01494 426709.

Travel Vaccinations

If you're planning to travel outside the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world.

 

Non-NHS Services

Some services offered fall outside the NHS contract and therefore attract charges.
